Although I was unsure of how to pronounce the name of this restaurant, the manager, Steve, was not only extremely knowledgeable about everything related to this new hot place on Las Olas, but he was also really pleasant and nice. The term Bao is pronounced similarly to how, currently, cow, bow, and other similar words are spoken. In the restaurant, they will tell you that the name Bao in Mandarin means treasure, and that is precisely what this establishment is. The property is perfectly situated on the corner of East Las Olas Boulevard and a little river.

Live music is exclusively available outside, with mellow music playing on the inside.

We began by sharing a bowl of Miso soup between ourselves.

I was pumped up and eager for more.

For our roll, we chose the Spicy Tuna with cucumber and avocado, which was topped with crushed cassava crackers.

I’m looking forward to seeing this new addition to the restaurant when it opens.

I thought the Lettuce Wraps with minced chicken, mushrooms, and jicama were fantastic, and the Bao Buns with charred fish of the day (red snapper) were a close second, out of all the delicious foods we enjoyed at the restaurant.

From beginning to end, the service was outstanding. Parking is simple because Las Olas Boulevard offers a plethora of metered parking facilities and on-street parking. It is highly suggested that you make reservations.
