2018-01-02· This was a novel take on something that had been done before: the steaming of the hot dog (and the steaming of the bun, which was soft and pillowy but not wet), the snappy natural casing, and a dash of mustard. Unlike other types of engineering, hot dog steamers are straightforward. A heating mechanism is located directly below a water chamber at the bottom of the tank, which is typically a metal coil, but it can also be a live flame if needed. He’s a chef, after all. verified purchase reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2017Verified Purchase In order to test it out for the first time (without a mirror), I put my hair up momentarily and discovered that it was quite simple to use. The first time I glanced at my hair in the mirror, I was shocked at how good the bun looked, especially since it only took a few seconds to put up. According of how you want your ponytail to be styled, you may just need one or two bobbypins, if that. This is an excellent product!
It’s a piece of cake!
- My hair is about 3-4″ below my shoulders, but I’m confident that it would work just as well with a bit shorter hair.
- If you’re on the fence, go ahead and get it!
- The product is intended to be “as seen on tv,” however it does not keep the hair in the centre so that you may wrap it up more easily as advertised.
- This is not something I would recommend for someone with thick hair.
- THESE ARE EXTREMELY APPEALING TO ME!
- On January 23, 2017, a review was published in the United States of America.
- I believe the ones I ordered are a touch larger in size than the ones I purchased at the shop.
- On December 7, 2016, a review was published in the United States, and the purchase was verified.
- However, it adheres to hair like Velcro and tugs it out of place.
- Purchase that has been verified This product is terrible; it doesn’t retain my hair and really makes it seem more unkempt.
On July 23, 2016, a verified purchase was made in the United States. These are so simple to use and they look fantastic. It took a little while for me to get used to them, but once I did, they were incredible to use.

Criss Cross Hot Buns Little Girls’ Hairstyle
I was just doing the hair of my daughter, Savy, and we were so pleased with it that I decided it needed to be featured on the site! Criss Cross Hot Buns is the name of our newest small girls’ hairdo, which we’re calling Criss Cross Hot Buns. You will need the following items to complete this simple small girls’ hairstyle: -comb – alligator clips (optional) – transparent elastics – scrunchies or ornamental elastics for the hair – hairspray (optional) (optional)
Criss Cross Hot Buns Step 1-
With the youngster in front of you, use your comb to split their hair into four equal-sized quadrants, each with its own color and texture. Three of the portions should be secured with alligator clips in order to keep them out of your way. It is preferable to have two pieces on the top of the head, split by a center area. In addition, there are two pieces in the back/underside of the skull, which are split by the same center region.
Using your comb, separate the youngster’s hair into four equal-sized quadrants with the child in front of you. Alligator clips should be used to secure three of the portions to keep them out of your way while you are working. In the top of the skull, you should have two pieces that are separated by a center section. There are also two pieces at the back/underside of the skull that are split by the same central part as the front segment.
Criss Cross Hot Buns Step 3-
Untangle the hair on the left side of the back parts. On the left side of the head, gather it into a high ponytail at the crown of the head. Take hold of the end of the braided part on the other side of the head with one hand, while keeping the ponytail with the other. Cross the braid over the top of your head and tie it into the ponytail you are currently maintaining in place. Create a loose bun on one side of the central portion of your hair with a decorative elastic or scrunchie to finish it off.
Finally, fluff and relax the knotted hot buns on your child’s head for the ultimate messy bun appearance, and spritz with hairspray if necessary to complete the look. When it comes to school, this haircut is ideal since it keeps their hair and hands away of their faces. Also, if they have to wear a mask in public or at school, this is a perfect hairstyle to utilize since it will not be harmed by the mask being placed on and taken off repeatedly during the day. How to make hair-styling time more fun for both Moms and Daughters is a question I am asked very frequently.
- Consider how much time you spend fixing your daughter’s hair before you start!
- They are aware that they will be spending one-on-one time with me, during which we will blast music or speak about friends and school.
- Make the most of it!
- Yes, it may be chaotic trying to have everyone’s hair done in time for school or church on a tight schedule.
Nonetheless, I adore it and wouldn’t want it any other way. On my Instagram profile, I’ll be posting more pictures of cute little girl’s haircuts. You may find me on Twitter at @twistmepretty. In the event that you try this look, please post it on Instagram and tag me so that I can see it!

Repeat the process on the opposite side.

Hair Style Worthy of The Red Carpet: How To Create a Hot Bun
This page contains information about hairstyles worthy of the red carpet, including how to create a hot bun. We were given a set of the Hot Buns as shown on television, which my daughter and I really adore. Because it holds its shape so well, I can put it in my hair first thing in the morning and, so long as the ponytail I constructed was tight, the hot bun held its shape. No matter how casual I was dressed, even in my workout clothes, I had fantastic hair. Zoe enjoys wearing it during gymnastics practice.
- You can see how simple it is to use in this little movie that I produced using the As Seen On TV Hot Buns to demonstrate how easy it is.
- Hot Buns, as shown on television, is a hair item that allows you to roll, snap, and wrap your hair into the ideal bun without the need of pins.
- Suitable for both casual and formal occasions.
- Available in two colors: bright and dark.
- You can get the Hot Buns hair item from the official As Seen On TV store right now!
- I’ve brought them with me on blog travels and have put them to good use.
- I am capable of creating either a huge or a tiny bun that is professional in appearance.
Hot cross buns
- 300ml full-fat milk plus 2 tbsp extra
- 50g butter
- 500g strong bread flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 75g caster sugar
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 7g sachet fast-action or easy-blend yeast
- 500g strong bread flour 15gsultanas
- 50g mixed peel
- Zest 1orange
- 1apple, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped
- 1 teaspoon crushed cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten
For the cross
- STEP 1Bring 300 mL full-fat milk to a boil, then remove from the heat and stir in 50 g butter until well combined. Allow it to cool until it reaches the appropriate hand temperature. In a large mixing basin, combine 500g strong bread flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 75g caster sugar, and 7g sachet fast-action or easy-blend yeast. Make a well in the center of the table. The heated milk and butter combination should be poured in first, followed by 1 beaten egg. Mix everything together thoroughly with a wooden spoon, then bring everything together with your hands until you have a sticky dough
- STEP 2Tip the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it by holding it in one hand and extending it with the heal of the other hand, then folding it back on itself, as shown in the picture. Repeat for another 5 minutes, or until the skin is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a basin that has been gently greased. Fill a baking sheet with oil and set aside in a warm location for 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size and a finger pressed into it makes an indentation
- STEP 3 While the dough is still in the bowl, add 75g sultanas, 50g mixed peel, the zest of 1 orange, 1 finely diced apple, and 1 tsp ground cinnamon. Stir until everything is well distributed. Make sure everything is evenly distributed throughout the dough by kneading it in. STEP 4Allow the dough to rest for another 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size, covered with some well-oiled cling film to prevent the dough from developing a crust
- STEP 5Distribute the dough into 15 equal pieces (about 75g per piece). On a lightly floured work surface, roll each piece into a smooth ball and set aside. Using one or two baking pans coated with parchment paper, arrange the buns on the baking trays, allowing enough room for the dough to expand. Allow to prove for 1 hour further, covered (but not wrapped) with extra oily cling film or a clean tea towel
- Remove from heat and leave aside. STEP 5: Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 5. 7. To prepare the paste for the cross, combine 75g plain flour with approximately 5 tbsp water – add the water one tbsp at a time, until you have just enough water to produce a thick paste. Fill a piping bag fitted with a tiny nozzle with the mixture. To make crosses on the buns, pipe a line along the middle of each row and then repeat in the opposite way. preheat the oven to 200°F and bake for 20 minutes on the center shelf until golden color STEP 6 Gently heat 3 tbsp apricot jam until it melts, then strain through a sieve to remove any lumps. As long as the jam is still warm, brush it over the top of the heated buns and set them aside to cool
I use quick-action or easy-blend yeast, which may be put directly to the dry ingredients without needing to be dissolved. In contrast to dried yeast, which must first be dissolved in a liquid, fresh yeast does not require this step.
PIPING THE CROSS
The crosses should be piped over the buns gently, such that the paste hugs the curvature of the buns on each side.
The crosses should be piped over the buns gently, so that the paste hugs the curvature of the buns as they are baked.
Prior to shaping, I carefully weigh each lump of dough to ensure that they are all of the same size and that they cook evenly.
