If you’ve been reading Southern Plate for a while, you’re probably thinking I’m sounding like a broken record on this issue, but I can’t help it; wasting food is something that I despise. In my family, we’ve heard far too many tales of how food has been limited in the past and how children have gone hungry (in my own family) for me to be able to take food for granted.

  • With all of the celebrations and cookouts taking place this summer, it’s likely that we’ll all have leftover rolls.
