Hiller’s grocery store, which was the last shop near me that carried them, went out of business here in Michigan, so I assumed that was the reason I hadn’t been able to locate them.

Hot Dog Snuggles

Tuesday, August 28th, 2009 at 10:57am I’m thinking of making several of these. I’m not searching for a recipe, but rather any recommendations on how to shape or use pans. You should try one of them if you have never had one before; they are like hot dog vaults. There will be no leaks, spills, or disintegration. They can contain a lot of chili, and if you fill them with crab salad, they’ll hold even more.:o)

Hsmum I had a good laugh at the name!:) What are your whereabouts? Is this the same as what we in North America would refer to as a “hot dog bun” or anything similar? Can you help me find the perfect hot dog “bun cradles”?

On August 27th, 2008, JackAdams(6526) inquired about My local grocery shop has discontinued offering these specific hot dog buns, and I would really appreciate it if you could assist me in locating them. These things are quite tough to express, but I’ll do my very best. If you’ve ever had a hot dog bun, you’re probably familiar with the way they appear. You pull them apart to insert the hot dog, and occasionally, the bun literally breaks apart while you’re in the middle of using it. A different type of hot dog bun, with a canoe-like form, is used to hold the hot dog.

Rather of being round, the buns are “U-shaped,” and they are packaged in such a way that they resemble the interlocking hands seen in this diagram: It is necessary to slide two of them away from one another after they have been removed from the box.

It’s unusual to come across “ideal” hot dog buns, but the ones I’m about to describe are certainly up to the task.

Could you possibly assist me in identifying and locating them? I’m confident that they are still being produced in California; all I need to do now is figure out which bakery is responsible for creating them. They are DESERVING of your attention. August 27, 2008, 7:37 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time

Snuggle My Dog

Sadly, my lack of domesticity got the better of me this evening. Pho was something I had planned to make because it was so chilly outside! After all, I even went to the grocery store and navigated my way through the after-school soccer mom supermarket rush, and I even returned my cart to the buggy-collector. After driving all the way home, I made the decision: hot dogs for dinner! Don’t start shouting at the top of your lungs just yet. Hot dogs can make a delicious meal! I’d like to suggest the following: The Hebrew Language National Franks made entirely of beef!

  • I served them with some maple and bacon baked beans and a large glass of Stonyfield organic milk, and we were all set for the evening.
  • Personally, I don’t mind spending a little extra money on a package of hot dogs that has elements I know are good for me.
  • I have to tell you about the most incredible hot dog bun that has ever been invented.
  • Because they are u-shaped and do not have a seam at the bottom, they can retain an astounding number of toppings without breaking apart, leaking, or otherwise compromising their integrity.
  • They may normally be found in the deli section, near where the pita bread is stored.
  • I’m not certain, but I get the impression that they are formed of a material that is comparable to pita bread.

It’s not very filling.

That is, if it makes any logical sense.

They actually do cuddle with your dog, as their name suggests!

I hope you all had a wonderful evening.

Not only will you get a delightfully delicate handcrafted bun, but you will also have complete control over the ingredients used in the bun. • Bread flour– Because bread flour has more gluten than all-purpose flour, it contributes to the texture of the finished product.
  • salt– A small amount of salt may make a significant difference in the texture and flavor of handmade buns.

Ammo Nation: Snuggles the Hot Dog

Greetings, and a pleasant evening to you all! It is with great excitement that I announce the discovery of a new product at my local grocery. Never before or after the invention of pickle relish has the hot dog business shown such foresight and innovation. The development has been made not because of Oscar Meyer, but because of Toufayan Bakeries, which is a PITA BAKERY! The Snuggle, which is simply a plush pita shell that can be used as a hot dog holding, open ended canoe, was invented by the wonderful people at Toufayan.

There is no sloppy joint to break and let the sugary sauces to leak through to ruin the experience.

creation using only one body along the whole length of the bun It’s possible that some of you have attempted to wrap a hot dog in a tortilla wrapper, but what those Hispanic Hot Dog Aficionados have overlooked is the appropriate bun texture that your ordinary red-blooded American HDL (hot dog lover) has come to appreciate.
