What Is The Name Of A Dessert With Strawberries Cheesecake Pudding Angel Food Cake Cold

Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle

Delectable Angel Food Cake, fluffy sweetened cream cheese, and fresh strawberries are combined in a sweet strawberry sauce to create a trifle that is both elegant and delicious. It’s quick and simple to put together, and it’ll be excellent for your summer dinner party. Follow these success principles to achieve consistently excellent achievements. The inspiration for this Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle recipe came from a “oops” Angel Food cake that I’d cooked for my daughter’s birthday and ended up eating.

That wouldn’t be appropriate for a great occasion such as a birthday celebration!

Key to Success1 – Use Light and Heavenly Angel Food Cake

You may either purchase a pre-made Angel Food cake from your local grocery shop or create your own from scratch. My go-to recipe for angel food cake is Betty Crocker’s Angel Food Cake Mix (which is available at most grocery stores). It seems to me that they come out fluffier and lighter than the ones that you can buy at the grocery store. You may also bake your own angel food cake from scratch using a recipe. A detachable bottom angel food cake pan is the only angel food cake pan that I use for baking my angel food cake.

  • If you don’t have one, get one!
  • Immediately after removing your angel food cake from the oven, flip it upside down to allow it to cool fully.
  • To turn the cake over onto a cake stand or serving plate, all you have to do is run a sharp knife between the cake’s outer edge and the pan’s inner edge.
  • Run your knife between the cake and the bottom of the pan to loosen and gently lift the bottom out of the pan.
  • NO!
  • It’s rather simple to determine whether or not the bottom of the pan is correctly positioned in the pan so that it doesn’t leak.
  • It also makes it easier to take the cake pan out of the oven once it has been baked.

Key to Success2 – Whip Up the Cheesecake Layer

The Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle’s cheesecake layer is created with cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Cool Whip, and it is topped with strawberries. If you like, you can use sweetened freshly whipped cream in place of the Cool Whip if you so choose. When it comes to meals like these, I’m a big believer in utilizing what you already have. Make careful to soften the cream cheese on the counter for a few minutes before you begin mixing to ensure that the mixture will come together smoothly and quickly.

Next, pour in the powdered sugar and blend until it is completely incorporated.

Despite the fact that I’ve said it previously, this bowl is the best for use with a hand mixer.

In actuality, it is a replacement bowl for a Sunbeam brand stand mixer, although it is also suitable for use with a hand mixer.

You may use the smaller 2-quart size for whipping up frostings and meringue, and the bigger 4-quart size for mixing cookie dough, cake batter, and whatever else you can think of in the kitchen.

Key to Success3 – Glaze Those Pretty Strawberries

It is created using cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Cool Whip to create the cheesecake layer of the Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle. If you like, you can use sweetened freshly whipped cream in place of the Cool Whip if desired. In dishes like these, I’m a firm believer in utilizing what you already have on hand. Make careful to soften the cream cheese on the counter for a few minutes before you begin mixing to ensure that the mixture will come together smoothly and easily. Make a cream cheese frosting by beating it with an electric hand mixer first, then adding the powdered sugar and mixing until everything is well incorporated.

Having said that, this bowl is the greatest for use with a hand mixer, as I have previously stated.

In reality, it’s a replacement bowl for a Sunbeam brand stand mixer, but it’s also ideal for use with a hand mixer as well.

Key to Success4 – Making the Layers Pretty

Angel food cake cubes form the base of this Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle, which is topped with whipped cream. Your angel food cake should be cut into 1-inch cubes, approximately. They are not required to be flawless in any respect. Begin by placing half of the cubes of angel food cake into the bottom of your glass trifle dish and pressing them down gently with your hand to form a foundation. Then, using half of the cheesecake mixture, spread it over the cake. Place a few spoonfuls of the mixture on the top of the cake and carefully spread it out to the edges with the back of the spoon.

  • Spread the strawberries in the glaze on top of the cream cheese layer to create a beautiful presentation.
  • There will also be a thin layer of strawberries on top of the cake.
  • Alternatively, you may adorn the top with whole or sliced strawberries or an additional layer of Cool Whip, but I think it looks lovely just as it is.
  • Keep it in mind.

Key to Success5 – Serve in a Lovely Glass Trifle Bowl

My trifle bowl is really a glass salad bowl that I received as a wedding gift more than 15 years ago, but this one is quite similar in design and function. Despite the fact that I like and think is so lovely, my footed trifle bowl is little too large for many of the trifles that I create.

Do you have any suggestions? It has a capacity of more than 5 quarts, so I occasionally use it as a punch bowl. You’ll need a trifle dish that’s closer to 3 quarts in size for this recipe. The Anchor Hocking Trifle Bowl, for example, is ideal.

Save this Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle recipe to your favorite Strawberry Desserts board or your Summer Desserts board.

My friends accuse me of not even being able to purchase a pre-made cake from a supermarket and simply letting it sit there unattended. It’s possible that they’re correct. For his birthday, my kid asked for his favorite dessert, which turned out to be strawberries and cream angel food cake (also known as angel food cake with the cool whip thing on top and strawberries).

My mother went all out for him a few years ago, making it with white chocolate pudding instead of vanilla, just like I do with the fresh berry trifle I make for him.

Strawberries and Cream Angel Food Cake Ingredients

The ingredients for this super-easy dish are pantry staples coupled with angel food cake and fresh strawberries for a very simple dessert. The pudding cream filling and topping are made with a package of pudding, cool whip, and powdered sugar, respectively. What’s wonderful about this recipe is that you can also make a few tweaks to it by changing the taste of the pudding you use. Vanilla or French vanilla extract was used in the preparation of my dessert. You may use white chocolate, as my mother has done in the past, or you can use the cheesecake pudding that I used.

How to Make the Angel Food Cake Pudding Dessert

To begin, combine the pudding mix, milk, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Then stir in the cool whip into the pudding mixture until well combined. Allow it to cool completely before slicing the angel food cake in half to create a top and bottom half. If you prepare the cake from scratch, you might even be able to reduce it in half or even three quarters. In this dessert, I really utilize the top of the cake as the base of the dish. Place the top layer of the plate on top of the sliced strawberries and serve immediately.

Place the bottom half of the cake on top of the strawberries and pudding mixture and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

You may either serve this bad boy immediately or store it in the refrigerator for later use.

You’ll have to work hard to keep your fingers out of it though. The remaining pudding mixture may also be used as a fruit dip for fresh fruit. Slice it and serve it with additional strawberries on the side for garnish.

Angel food cake is a delicious treat that lives up to its name. Heaven on Earth Cakecombines angel food cake with sweet cherries and creamy vanilla pudding to create an out-of-this-world summer treat that will leave you begging for more. Have you tried my Angel Food Cakerecipe yet? If not, you should. It was impossible for me to resist going one step further with this angel food cake dessert after preparing the cake a couple of weeks earlier. You’ll understand why I refer to it as “Heaven on Earth” cake when you’ve had a bite of it!

What is Heaven on Earth Cake?

This angel food cake dessert is constructed with cubes of ready-made angel food cake that are stacked in a pan with a vanilla pudding cream, cherry pie filling, and cool whip, and then baked till golden brown. It has the appearance of a bread pudding, yet it does not require any baking! The soft sponge of the cake absorbs the vanilla and cherry tastes, as well as the rich sweet cream, which is poured on top. This was really delicious, especially when served cold on a hot summer night! Preparing this dish for a family graduation celebration, your next barbecue, or simply “because” It’s quite simple, and if you get angel food cake from a supermarket, you won’t even have to turn on your oven.

How to make Heaven on Earth Cake

This delectable delicacy is made using angel food cake and a can of cherry pie filling as the base. You may either create your own angel food cake from scratch or purchase one from a bakery in your local grocery shop to save time. Cut the cake into cubes, then put the cubes in the bottom of a cake pan to create a layer of cake pieces. Place some cherry pie filling on top of the angel food cake cubes, then continue the process with the remaining angel food cake cubes and pie filling. It’s time to prepare the pudding layer!

  • Instead of using quick pudding mix, I used sour cream in addition of the milk, which I had on hand.
  • Pour the creamy pudding on top of the entire cake and spread evenly.
  • Use all of your self-control to refrain from digging into the cake right immediately, and then place it in the refrigerator to cool for at least 4 hours before cutting into it.
  • I can’t seem to get enough of the combination of cherry and almond flavors, so I shaved some slivered almonds on top of the cake before ladling it into serving plates to make it more festive.

Every bite of this angel food cake delicacy is a delicious combination of light cake, creamy vanilla, sweet cherries, and crunchy toasted almonds. It’s really simple. It’s really good. Several Cherry Desserts are available, including Cherry Almond Hand Pies and Cherry Almond Braid.

How to serve the cake

The cool whip, cream, and rich cherry filling in this cake need the use of a large serving spoon to scoop the cake into bowls or onto individual plates. Arrange your angel food cake dessert in a trifle pan for an attractive and striking presentation! Everything about it is so gorgeous on the dessert table.

Variations

Do you not have a good sensation about the cherry almond stuff today? You can simply transform this simple summery dessert into a lemon lover’s dream with a few simple ingredients. I’m sure you’re all aware that I can’t get enough lemon sweets at this time of year, so I had to try a citrus variation of this dish as well. Simply replace the almond extract in the filling with a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice to create an alemon angel food cake dessert! Lemon pie filling or homemade lemon curd are both excellent pairings for this recipe.

Can this be made in advance?

Yes! My favorite way to eat this cake is after it has had a chance to cool in the refrigerator. Preparation can be done the night before and let to set in the refrigerator overnight to save time.

Ingredients

  • There are two3.4 oz containers of instant cheesecake flavored pudding mix* in this bundle. milk (four cups, 960 mL)
  • Heavy whipping cream (one and a half cups, 360 mL)
  • Angel food cake (approximately 12 oz), divided into pieces
  • 3/4 cup (86g) powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract • 1 cup (156 g) finely cut strawberries*
  • 1 cup (130 g) blueberries*
  • 1 cup (128 g) raspberry*
  • Additional berries for garnishing

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing basin, combine the pudding mix and milk and whisk until well combined, about 2 minutes. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract and whisk on high speed until firm peaks form. Reserve
  2. Arrange approximately half of the angel food cake pieces in an equal layer on the bottom of the trifle dish. Make sure to start with pieces around the perimeter so that they appear lovely, then move on to filling up the middle. Approximately half of the prepared pudding should be placed on top of the cake. Prepare the trifle dish by placing some sliced strawberries around the edge of the dish where you will be placing the berries. Fill in the gaps between the layers with approximately 1/2 cup of each type of berry
  3. About half of the cool whip should be placed on top of the berries and distributed into an equal layer Steps 2-4 are repeated one more, and then the leftover whipped cream is piped on top of the trifle in a decorative pattern. I piped shells around the outside of the perimeter a couple of times. Fill in the middle of the whipped cream with extra berries and garnish with additional berries as desired. Refrigerate for about 2-3 hours, or until ready to serve, until the sauce has thickened. Trifle should be refrigerated in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consumed within 1-3 days.

Notes

  • You might substitute vanilla flavored pudding for the cheesecake flavour pudding if you are unable to locate the cheesecake flavored pudding. In order to be sure you have plenty of each sort of berry, I’d recommend having two containers of each type. If you want to use Cool Whip instead of handmade whipped cream, simply substitute 12 oz of Cool Whip for the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in the recipe.

In the summer, I enjoy cool sweets since they are a refreshing way to conclude a hot day. This recipe calls for Angel Food Cake, which may be made from scratch or purchased from a grocery store (hey, time-saving convenience!) However, pound cake might also be used to make this recipe. Check out this fantastic Pound Cake Recipe from my buddy Jent from The Farmwife Feeds.

The stand is sold separately, and it is equipped with a cover.

Mixed Berry Cheesecake Trifle

I have a son who is allergic to chocolate, therefore I need any and all non-chocolate dessert recipes I can find. Although he doesn’t care for cheesecake, he does enjoy cheesecake pudding and cream cheese, which is why I included them in my trifle dish.

In order to prevent chunks from forming in the cream cheese and cool whip mixture, it is important to make sure that the cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing the ingredients together. Alternatively, whipping the cream cheese before adding it to the cool whip will aid in the process.

Tips for the best strawberry angel food cake lush

  • If you require a gluten-free angel food cake, feel free to substitute it for the regular version. It’s something I do frequently and it always works flawlessly
  • Avoid the temptation to use Cool Whip instead. Producing your own whipped cream will result in a superior end product and a more wholesome flavor than using pre-whipped flavored oil. If you don’t know how to make your own whipped cream, you can learn how in this post. Make your own homemade glaze with fresh berries sliced up (see comments in the recipe card for details)
  • If necessary, you may prepare this luscious dish up to 48 hours ahead of time.

Angel Food Icebox Cake

It’s sure to become your new favorite quick dessert dish, thanks to this light and refreshing Angel Food Icebox Cake! The best part is that this easy-to-prepare delicacy comes together in minutes and is the perfect addition to your Fourth of July party, owing to the abundance of blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries included in the recipe. Anyone who knows me well knows that I am a huge fan of cake. However, as the weather warms up, I prefer lighter, more refreshing versions of my favorite dishes.

The greatest textures and flavors have been incorporated into one delicious meal, thanks to my skillful preparation.

What is an Icebox Cake?

An old-fashioned icebox cake is a dessert prepared with chocolate wafers or graham crackers, whipped cream, and a chocolate or graham cracker crust. The wafers are layered in layers, with the cream holding them all together. An icebox cake is so named because this no-bake dessert “cooks” in the refrigerator while it rests and settles, resulting in a moist and flavorful dessert.

A variation on the classic, this recipe calls for Angel Food cake instead of wafers and is topped with a variety of fresh berries, which provides a nice contrast to the sweetness of the cake.

How to make Icebox Cake:

Starting with the ingredients, you will need half of an Angel Food cake for this recipe. However, because I live in a rural region, I couldn’t locate this simple shortcut at my local grocery store, which is where most Angel Food cakes are sold baked in the bakery section. Instead, I made my own cake from scratch, following the directions on the package. After that, cut the cake into squares. You’ll wind up with approximately 6-7 cups of liquid in the end. Then there’s the whipped cream and berries mix that holds everything together.

  • Milk
  • A carton of cheesecake-flavored Jell-O
  • Cool Whip that has been thawed

Gently fold in the milk, Cool Whip, and dry Jell-O mix until the mixture is smooth and fluffy in texture. Pour the cake cubes into the creamy mixture and spread evenly in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish to set. The pie filling is the next step. I really like the combination of blueberry pie filling and the cheesecake-flavored whipped cream mixture, but you may use any berry-flavored pie filling that you want instead. Spread the pie filling over the top of the cake and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving (or overnight).

How to serve Icebox Cake:

Finally, when the cake has had some time to rest in the refrigerator, you’ll garnish it with some fresh berries of your choosing shortly before presenting it to your family and friends. The colors red and blue berries are often associated with the American flag, but you may use any color you wish for your patriotic theme.

Cook’s Tips and Recipe Variations:

  • Purchase a pre-made Angel Food Cake in the bakery area of your local supermarket for a quick-prep alternative that makes this a completely no-bake dessert. Make your own cake from a boxed mix, if you can’t locate one already made (just be sure to allow for a few of extra hours of prep time to let the cake cool). I used cheesecake-flavored pudding mix, but you may use any flavor of pudding mix that you choose. Vanilla pudding or lemon pudding would also be wonderful options. Whether you pick the sugar-free, fat-free pudding mix or the usual pudding mix, you’ll need thesmallbox to complete your project. Instead of using blueberry pie filling on top of your cake, consider using strawberry or raspberry pie filling. Deliciousness would be a strawberry ice box cake with fresh strawberries on
  • What is the shelf life of icebox cake? This dessert will keep for at least 2-3 days in the refrigerator
  • However, I do not advocate freezing any remaining icebox cake. After thawing, the texture of the berries as well as the whipped cream combination will be “odd,” as will the flavor.

How to Make Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

  • The ingredients are: angel food cake, pudding, milk, strawberries, sugar, and cool whip.

We will begin by preparing the vanilla pudding, which will take the longest. Whisk together the pudding mix and milk until the mixture is thick. Put things aside for the time being. The scrumptious angel food cake serves as the base for our first layer. Normally, I make mine from scratch, but if I am pressed for time, there is no shame in purchasing a pre-baked cake from the grocery store. It is just a matter of tearing your angel food cake into little pieces and placing them in a 9×13 baking dish.

  1. Using a fork, mash the strawberries until they are fully combined.
  2. The strawberries should be drizzled over the angel food cake.
  3. Spread it on top of the strawberries in an even layer.
  4. Finish by sprinkling the remaining sliced strawberries on top of the Cool Whip layer you created earlier.
  5. When something appears SO DELICIOUS, it’s difficult for me to be patient.
  6. When you do this, all of the layers will sort of melt together, resulting in absolute beauty.
