Friends, the ChefPauper household does not believe in wasting anything (food or otherwise). I do this to avoid having to throw away leftover hotdog and hamburger buns. It’s not quite as bizarre as it appears! Now, thawing them and then utilizing them to make hamburgers or hot dogs isn’t the most perfect situation. I could go into detail on how freezing and thawing creates structural changes to the bread as a result of the ice that develops as a result of the moisture contained inside it, and how this affects texture and flavor, but that would be really dull.

Let’s make some easy bread pudding!

In the picture, you can see that I’m using two hotdog buns, two hamburger buns, and the butt end of a random loaf of bread; simply modify the ingredients so that they have the same approximate ratio of the bread to the other components. It is not an exact science, so don’t be concerned if you are missing an egg or are running out on milk. In this room, the food is going to get really good.

For this recipe, you’re going to need:
