Three and a half to four cups all-purpose flour
One (2-1/4 teaspoon) Fleischmann’s® RapidRise® Instant Yeast envelope a 1/2 cup of water, a half-cup of milk, and a quarter cup of butter or margarine

DIRECTIONS

In a large mixing basin, combine 1 cup flour, the undissolved yeast, the sugar, and the salt. Heat the water, milk, and butter until they are quite warm (120 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit). Gradually incorporate into the flour mixture. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer, scraping down the sides of the bowl regularly. In a large mixing bowl, combine enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Knead on a lightly floured surface for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover and set aside for 10 minutes. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces, and roll each piece into a 12-inch rope using a rolling pin. Place on a large baking sheet that has been buttered. Remove the cover and let the dough to rise in a warm, draft-free environment until it has doubled in size, about 30 to 45 minutes
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until done. Remove off sheet and allow to cool on a wire rack.
