I’m also determined to make what I perceive to be the perfect pie crust, which is more thick than buttery and flaky and has a slight sweetness to it, as part of my quest to better my pie-making abilities. That being stated, I need to get a pie plate, but I’m not sure which one will be most beneficial to my endeavor. Metallic pie plates, ceramic pie plates, and glass pie plates are my three possibilities for pie plates, but I’m not going to explore metallic baking pans at this time until someone can persuade me otherwise.
